Hi! Dr James K. Abernathy and I started this lifestyle healthy blog back in 2020 as a way to inspire others to live happier healthier.

I want people to see that eating nutritious foods and staying active does not have to be complicated - and can even be fun! I registered dietitian (RD) and I have a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am also a mother, marathon runners, yogis, and nature lovers, adventure, travel, and the creation of healthy recipes.

In this blog, you will find a mixture of everyday life, easy recipes, quick ideas to eat, walk and race recaps, adventures in the capital, active travel, nutrition tips, and more.
